Take smooth synthesizers, blend them with bongo beats, then add a gaggle of talented musicians, and you have Yukon Blonde at The Studio in Hamilton.

To celebrate the release of their new EP entitled “Legends Never Die”, The Castor Troys took to the stage at The Corktown Pub in Hamilton last Saturday night, bringing with them the energy and talent the band has quickly become known for.

Kicking off their “Picture of Health Tour” in Hamilton, Hugh Dillon threw the rules out right from the beginning, telling their fans “they didn’t matter tonight”.

Emily Haines, James Shaw and the rest of Canadian indie-rock band Metric performed in front of 9,000 fans at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
